Material List:

Cereal box

Tissue Paper (Red & Blue)

White Construction Paper

Liquid Starch  or  Diluted glue 50/50

Foam Shape Cut-outs (Large stars would be great)
(Draw and cut out your own shapes out of paper).

4 Chenille Stems (2 red, 2 blue)

Foam Craft Brush or Paint Brush

Scissors & Glue

How To Make It:

Note:  Cover all working surfaces.  Items may be difficult to remove from the surface after drying.

1.  Cut the flaps off the top of the cereal box, then poke two holes in front and back
two upper corners of the box.

2.  Cut the colored tissue paper into 1'' - 2  '' squares. Cut enough to cover the entire box, then         set the squares aside.

3.  Cut the construction paper to fit the cereal box.  If your paper is smaller than the box use            more sheets to cover the box.

4.  Brush starch or diluted glue over the box and lay the construction paper on top.  Cover the           entire box.

5.  Brush a small area of starch onto the box, then place a square of tissue paper on top. Gently      brush more starch on top of the square to seal it in.

6.  Repeat step 5 while alternating and slightly over lapping the squares until the whole box is           covered.

7.  Glue on the white foam cut-outs.

7.  Twist the chenille stems together and attach them to the top of the box through the                     holes made previously.
